WEST is an interim use project in the heart of the seventh district in Vienna. Previous used as a hospital, the building now hosts a wide range of creatives – from DJ collectives to graphic designers and event agencies. A few of the former patient rooms have been converted to low-budget Airbnb rooms and I was asked to contribute some murals in the course of the renovation. The overarching theme, connecting to the building's past, are psychological conditions; depicted in large murals in the hallway as well as several smaller ones inside the rooms.
